After his mother died, Chihiro moved in with his uncle, Madoka. However, Madoka's house is a mess—there is dust and garbage galore. Chihiro, the clean-freak, will not put up with this, so be begins to work for his uncle to keep the house clean.¹ Alcohol There is alcohol and drunkenness seen in this show. We are told: "A character is very briefly seen pouring sake into a glass (it is implied that he and someone else [are] drunk, however, the actual drinking and consumption isn't shown)."² This is in direct violation of Scripture. The Bible is clear that both of these things are wrong. For example, Leviticus 10:9-10 calls alcohol unholy and Ephesians 5:18 says drunkenness is wrong. Shorts Chihiro's shorts reveal part of his thighs. Thankfully, it was not done in a sexual way, however, it is still immodest.
