Blazers are a minority of people who can "manipulate their souls to form powerful weapons." These people attend the Hagun Academy, where they work to become "Mage-Knights". The main character, Ikki Kurogane, is considered a failure, as the only F-ranked Blazer. He is challenged to a duel by the A-rank Blazer and princess, Stella Vermillion.
