The Holy Anime Wars

Another installment in the Dragon Ball series is Dragon Ball Z . This show, which is widely popular, even today, has several things wrong with it. Some of these are deeply spiritual as well. Immodesty There is inappropriate clothing in this anime. IMDb says, "Girl characters show cleavage and wear short skirts. Flirty behavior with boys."¹ This is immodest dress and behavior. The Bible speaks much of such behavior in Proverbs 5-7, and about immodest clothing in 1 Timothy 2:9: "That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words." (Proverbs 7:5) "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;" (1 Timothy 2:9) Such things are not becoming of Christ.
